Hollywood's Brightest Stars Choose Piaget Watches and Jewelry For Oscar Night
Whether attending the Academy Awards or making the rounds at the hottest Oscar parties, a record number of stars made a splash on the red carpet wearing Piaget timepieces and jewelry. Best Actor nominee, Hugh Jackman, chose the ultra-slim Piaget Altiplano 43mm in white gold (world record for the thinnest movement and case), while his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, wore a white gold and diamond 40mm Altiplano. Oscar presenters, Mark Ruffalo and Paul Rudd, both opted for classic 38mm gold Piaget Altiplanos (rose gold and white gold respectively), while “Silver Linings Playbook” star, Chris Tucker, was the most dazzling of all in his fully-pavéd white gold 38mm Altiplano.
The paparazzi went wild for Jamie Foxx, a longtime friend of the brand, who attended the ceremony with his beautiful daughter, Corinne Bishop. Piaget had worked closely with the two, selecting the perfect accessories for their big night. Jamie looked dashing in a Piaget Protocole XXL in white gold on a sleek matte gray alligator strap, while Corinne looked fresh and elegant in a graceful white gold and diamond pendant (79 brilliant-cut diamonds) from Piaget's Limelight Embroidery collection, along with matching earrings (98 brilliant-cut diamonds). She completed her Oscar look with a Piaget cocktail ring featuring a 10-carat pink rubellite.
Arriving at the Vanity Fair Oscar party—the hottest ticket in town—Paula Patton dazzled in a Piaget rose gold and diamond Heart motif ring. Hollywood royalty and fashion's latest It Girl, Dree Hemingway, looked incredibly chic in a pair of Piaget white gold and diamond drop earrings and a simple diamond solitaire pendant. Part of Piaget's new Couture Précieuse high jewelry collection, the earrings feature dangling strands of 194 sparkling diamonds. Also wearing Piaget for the evening were Kyle MacLachlan and Lorraine Toussaint.
