Official description

The timeless elegance of the Altiplano range is reflected in this model, which is driven by a Manufacture Piaget 838D gem-set skeleton movement which watchmakers adorn with only the bare essentials. The magic of the skeletonized ultra-thin movements is a gloriously revealed by the delicate gem-setting of diamonds on the white gold bottom plate. Piaget is the only existing Manufacture to gem-set its ultra-thin skeletonized movements, including the working parts. This unique expertise requires the closest collaboration between watchmakers and jewelers – thus drawing on the Maison's two areas of excellence. The spectacular results on this skeletonized 34 mm Altiplano watch bear witness to true technical prowess. No fewer than 219 diamonds are set in the movement no more than 3.1 mm thick. The finishing of the ensemble is consistent with the highest of watchmaking: sunburst guilloché bridges, circular graining and hand-drawn strokes and circular-grained trains, while eight black sapphires subtly conceal the screws. Echoing the jewels which decorate its heart, the white gold case of this luxury watch, available exclusively at Piaget boutiques, is set with 160 diamonds.
